Elly CPP

Elly came to Career Partners Plus for additional assistance. As a Stream 1 client with a Job Active provider, we were able to provide INDIVIDUAL SUPPORT and an opportunity to hear about Elly’s work history and skills. New to Adelaide, Elly didn’t have any foothold or contacts in the local market and needed to develop strategies to create these.

After working with Elly to help change her job focus (taking into account her desire to switch from allied health to administration), she decided to participate in our WORK ESSENTIALS workshops.

The workshops she said, were excellent. They helped her with confidence and the whole CPP team took an interest in her efforts to develop job seeking strategies. Elly said “the workshops helped and empowered me to take control (of my job search)”.

The information delivered and reinforced by the CPP team, around perseverance and resilience in a tough labour market at the moment have paid off for Elly and she has been rewarded for her efforts. While Elly redirected her job search to the occupation she originally looked at moving away from, she explained that she really felt that this was where her passion is.

CPP think that her new employer are very fortunate and wish Elly all the very best in the future in her position with RAH as Allied Health Assistant in the Occupational Therapy division.
