The $88 million JobTrainer program is a significant partnership between the State and Commonwealth Governments ($53.5 million from the State and $34.5 million from the Commonwealth).
Through JobTrainer, the government is responding to industry demand; delivering high quality training and supporting more South Australians into training pathways and skilled careers. The State Government is currently engaging with registered training organisations (RTOs) to ensure the vocational education market is best-positioned to serve industry and provide students with more choice and value.
As part of this process, the government will introduce new low-fee short courses and qualifications that will unlock skilled career opportunities. Delivered under JobTrainer, these short courses will benefit school leavers, young people and job seekers.
